Getting Started with JamDrive

Download the JamDrive App

Android (Available Now)

1. Open the Google Play Store
2. Search for "JamDrive"
3. Tap "Install"
4. Open the app once installed

iOS (Coming Soon)

• The iOS version is in development and will be available on the App Store soon
• Android is required for now

Create Your Account

1. Open the JamDrive app
2. Tap "Sign Up" on the welcome screen
3. Select "Passenger" as your account type
4. Fill in your details:
   • First name
   • Last name
   • Email address — for account notifications and receipts
   • Phone number — for ride-related calls and SMS
   • Password — at least 8 characters
5. Tap "Create Account"

Alternative Sign-Up Methods

• Google/Facebook — Tap the social login buttons for faster sign-up
• Web — Visit jamdriveja.com and click "Sign Up"

Verify Your Email

1. Check your email inbox for a verification email from JamDrive
2. Click the "Verify Email" button in the email
3. You'll be redirected to confirm your account is active
4. Return to the app and log in

Complete Your Profile

1. Go to Profile in the app
2. Add your details:
   • Profile photo — Optional but helps drivers recognize you
   • Phone number — Verified via SMS code
   • Home address — For quick booking
   • Work address — For quick booking
3. Save your profile

Add a Payment Method

Before booking your first ride, add a payment method:

1. Go to Wallet or Payment Methods
2. Tap "Add Card"
3. Enter your card details:
   • Card number
   • Expiry date
   • CVV
4. The card will be verified with a small temporary charge (refunded immediately)
5. Your card is now ready to use

Payment Options Available

• Credit/Debit Card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express (via Stripe)
• Cash — Pay the driver directly in cash
• E-Wallet — Coming soon

Apply Your First Promo Code

New users get special offers! Here are the current promo codes:

How to Apply a Promo Code

1. Go to Profile > Promo Codes or Wallet > Promo Codes
2. Enter the code (e.g., WELCOMEJD)
3. Tap "Apply"
4. The discount will be applied to your next eligible ride/order

Book Your First Ride

You're all set! Here's how to book:

1. On the home screen, enter your pickup location (or use current location)
2. Enter your destination
3. See the fare estimate before confirming
4. Choose your payment method (card or cash)
5. Tap "Book Ride"
6. Wait for a driver to accept (usually within 1-2 minutes)
7. Track your driver in real-time on the map
8. Enjoy your ride!
